The Nike Cortez was originally created by American track and field coach Bill Bowerman and was designed to be a running shoe. It made history in 1972 as it became one of the most popular running sneakers ever thanks to its unrivalled cushioning. The current collection continues to use the classic silhouette whilst further advancements have been made regarding the comfort and cushioning technology. However, they are now so much more than just a running shoe and they come in a variety of different colourways.
