Do you think a fashion brand can be created in a DIY style? No? Then you probably never heard of the Polish clothing brand called MISBHV. It was created in a relatively short period by Tomasz Wirski and Natalia Maczek. With no business plan, corporate philosophy, budget, or experience they simply came up with a modest project- a collection of T-shirts with personal authenticity that captivated the market. Today, it is featured at major fashion events (like NY Fashion Week), attracts crowds, and collects awards from the most important fashion magazines. Even the most discerning streetwear lovers like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Gigi, and Bella Hadid share this unique MISBHV philosophy. It maintains its presence on the scene thanks to these three fundamental rules.
Rule one: Do whatever you want
The first rule is freedom and liberty. It involves inspiration from the aesthetics of the early 21st century, a time when the founders of MISBHV were coming of age. That means a load of provincial disco style and provocative clothing combinations. They create clothes by their own beliefs and style, not according to what's trending at the moment. This often never stops to surprise its fashion audience. Do you want to be a part of this audience?
Rule two: Trust your intuition
Thanks to the second rule, Tomasz and Natalia stay true to their intuition and instincts. They work on MISBHV clothes according to their principles and do not rely only on calculations or planning. They do what they like and avoid what they are not attracted to. They don't oblige anyone and as the old, well-worn saying goes - they listen to the voice of their heart. Can you hear it too?
Rule three: Don't forget your roots
The third rule is that MISBHV emphasizes who they are and where they come from. They remain loyal to their home country of Poland and are committed to building up the image of the country abroad. They remember all values that unite Poland - freedom, solidarity, tolerance, and beauty. Thanks to this, MISBHV still succeeds mainly by its own rules, which are quite different from the standards in the fashion industry. So what about you? Do you remember who you are?
