POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) is an avant-garde fashion brand from South Korea that was founded in 2018. The brand is known for its conceptual approach to design and has garnered international attention in its short existence12. PAF was founded by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong and their philosophy revolves around deconstruction, futurism and industrial design3.
PAF's design approach is also reflected in the details. Each garment is labeled as left, right, and center, and often one idea is expressed in all three modes. This system resembles a political spectrum where the left side represents the most radical and experimental ideas, the right side is the more conservative and traditional path, and the middle is the middle ground between the two.
PAF gained notoriety when Kendrick Lamar wore their black down jacket during an appearance on Saturday Night Live, just two months after the brand was founded. As a result, the brand began painstakingly creating new designs in limited numbers and soon found itself with a website full of sold-out styles
