People pour plastics into oceans like there's no tomorrow. It comes up to more than eight million tons in a year. There's probably no trick or a single solution that could resolve the situation, which we as humans got into, with a snap of a finger. We can fight the big battle with smaller steps though. Such example is the result of the collaboration between adidas and Parley For The Oceans - sneakers that are made from plastic bottles pulled out from the sea. Each pair of adidas x Parley is made of more than ten plastic bottles, which is definitely better than leaving the bottles to decompose at the bottom of the ocean for centuries ...
This running shoe will change the way you think about what it feels like to be comfortable, fast, and have well-cushioned footwear. The adidas Ultraboost sneakers have an active boost™ foam in the midsole, made of thousands of energy capsules that store and release endless energy with every contact with the ground. As a result, you'll feel incredibly light while running. The shoe features a seamless upper made of flexible Primeknit material, as well as TORSION® SYSTEM technology to reinforce the midfoot.
The history of the revolutionary Ultra Boost technology
Boost started it all. A technology that promised a radical change in sneaker wear for amateur and professional athletes alike. adidas even said that the new technology would return 20% more energy than its predecessor - the EVA rubber.
The adidas Ultraboost sneakers first appeared in 2015 in both men's and women's versions. Originally a running shoe, the sneaker quickly made its way from the tracks to the streets and onto the feet of everyday users. The comfort was simply so groundbreaking that it was a shame not to wear them daily.
A wide range of the most comfortable sneakers
Footshop offers the men's adidas Ultraboost sneakers in black, white, and dozens of other colorways, and the same goes for the women's. The adidas x Parley collaboration is worth mentioning - these Ultraboosts are composed of bottles lifted from the bottom of the ocean.
In addition, new versions of the adidas UltraBoost come out every year because progress can't be stopped.
