The day of love is here again. Due to restrictions, this year’s Valentine’s Day can’t happen as it typically would, with romantic dinners or parties, but as we have grown used to in the past months, we have to think of alternatives in our homes.

However, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. If there still exist films, which you haven’t seen even after these long periods of isolation, you have a big advantage, because today’s Valentine’s recommendations revolve around the magic of some of the best romantic films, helping you set the mood on the 14th, regardless of whether you’re spending it with your significant other or your single friends.

Just like last year, when we gave you tips on…  well, something a bit different, the themes are set in the sneaker environment. After all, love starts with a pair. And now is the perfect time to revive your inner sneakeromantic. Let’s see if you can tell what iconic scenes the pictures below symbolize. The answers can be found directly below them, but no cheating!

1. Titanic
2. Dirty Dancing
3. Say Anything
4. Ghost

Did you guess everything right?

Regardless of whether you got everything, or whether you glanced at the answers, only to go “oh yeah” immediately, I can promise you none of these movies will disappoint you on Valentine’s day.

Valentine’s sale – 30%

Whether you want to spend an evening with your significant other in matching outfits, or you’re single and you just need to save on some comfortable new sweatpants, I have great news for you. Until midnight on Sunday 14, you can buy two products at Footshop and get a 30% discount on the cheaper one. Sounds good, right?

Finally, I wish you a happy Valentines day, whether you’ll be spending it with someone special, or whether you’ll be watching the Premier league to warm up before Tuesday’s return of the Champions League, as in my case.

And if you have nothing else to do, I recommend you take a look at our last year’s mini-project, called sneakersutra. The name already reveals what it’s about, so if you’re 18+ click here.
