The fight against COVID-19 is happening globally, and as such, has had an impact at Footshop as well. Our warehouse adheres to strict hygienic guidelines, and everyone who can is working from home at the moment.
We care about your health and safety, which is why you can get a free facemask with order from Footshop during this weekend. We have already given 200 branded facemasks to our employees, and 800 will be enclosed to random orders this Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the branded facemasks (2 000 pieces) will be given to our customers with your orders in upcoming days. We cannot guarantee you that you will receive the Footshop facemask as there is a limited amount of them, but at least we hope that Footshop can contribute with protection for some of you.
Stick to the rules, help combat the spread of the virus, and last but not least, don’t forget to smile under your facemask.
And now a few words about the Footshop branded facemask. It is made of 100% cotton, and here are some tips on how to take care of it. It is pretty similar to taking care of the sneakers.
Recommended care:
1. Steaming – iron each side of the mask for 3 minutes with a steam iron.
2. Ironing – iron each side of the mask on high temperature for 3 minutes.
3. Washing – wash in the machine at 90° C for 30 minutes (minimum recommended washing temperature is 60° C; beware of washing the masks separately from other laundry – there’s a risk of contamination).
4. Boiling – leave the mask in boiling water for at least 5 minutes and then dry (wash and disinfect the pot properly before/after using it)The combination of the above care options reduces the risk of contamination.The print may fade after several cycles; the print has no protective function.
Recommended storage:
in a disinfected plastic container or zip-lock bag (do not leave the mask freely in open space).
Recommended handling:
1. Ideally, only touch the mask with gloves or with thoroughly washed hands.
2. Preferably, only touch the mask by the elastic bands or strings.
3. Do not touch the outer layer. If this occurs, immediately wash your hands with soap or disinfectant gel.
