GORE-TEX® specializes in creating materials that provide maximum protection against the harshest conditions while at the same time remaining comfortable. Products containing GORE-TEX® materials are completely waterproof, breathable and durable all at the same time. Their collaboration with Vault by Vans brings a limited edition of the popular Old-Skool and Sk8-Hi silhouettes.
We took the new Vault by Vans x GORE-TEX® sneakers to the test by going on an autumn hike with them. The sneakers were exposed to water and mud (as well as fallen leaves). At first glance it was evident that no water would get through the GORE-TEX®-technology infused outer layer of the sneaker.
Vault by Vans x GORE-TEX® are one of the top contenders for this season´s ideal autumn shoe, especially if you don´t want to switch to winter boots just yet. Rain or giant puddles, which are both very common in this time of year, won´t be an obstacle anymore.
