I stand by my statement that the rebirth of the adidas Forum silhouette is one of this year’s best sneaker updates. And seeing as they’re enjoying a lot of popularity, adidas hasn’t stopped creating new variations. This time around, we’ve got a double release of women’s summer shoes. With three stripes and platforms, the adidas Triple Platforum are here in both low and high top versions.

Compared to the original model, the low top version remains visually quite similar. But on second glance, you can notice the different colors of the three layers of the platform. Why only on second glance? Well, the smooth color gradient effectively masks the height of the whole midsole, which means you can enjoy a couple extra centimeters without anyone being any wiser. At the same time, this version of the adidas Platforum has a super vintage vibe that won’t cause any issues if it gets slightly dirty.

Conversely, the high top version is unexpectedly different from the original version. The retro vibe is replaced by a slightly more 2010 R&B type visual, with the metal buckle on the upper being a nice addition. Same as the low top version, the platform is cleverly masked, albeit not in such an interesting manner. Either way, if you’re looking for a high top pair of white sneakers, and are struggling to find something truly original, you can give yourself a pat on the back with these. Incidentally, I can sense a return of the aforementioned past decade’s trends in the air – and getting a head start never hurt anybody.
