Spring jackets

The sun might be starting to make appearances, but don’t let it catch you off-guard – although it might look warm when looking out of the window, spring weather can be quite misleading. It can get chilly, or even start to rain, in an instant.

A spring jacket should be in everyone’s arsenal. Something light and portable that you can easily stash away into a backpack or bag – check out a couple of pieces from Calvin Klein, adidas and Nike in the pictures below.

Don’t forget a hoodie

Time and time again, I’m reminded that around here, spring isn’t T-shirt weather yet, so I always keep a good hoodie around.

A good pair of trousers

With the sun peeping out every now and then, it’s a great time to go for a jog in the park or something similar. Although first meant for wearing at home, today, sweatpants are a very common part of streetwear outfits.

Since it can get quite windy in spring, a good pair of track pants should definitely be something to keep on hand. They’re a great pick for any outdoors activity as well as a stylish part of any outfit.

Cargo pants

Cargo pants were originally a very practical type of trousers to wear when you needed to keep a lot of stuff on hand thanks to their extra pockets. Today though, they’re also a staple part of the streetwear world.

Beanies and caps

While today we look at hats and baseball caps mainly as a fashion accessory, we shouldn’t forget about their practical side – cold ears or sharp sunlight aren’t exactly comfortable.

Classic beanie hats will keep you warm in chilly or windy conditions.

On the other hand, baseball caps (snapback) of all kinds are a great pick for a sunny day.

And when the temperatures start to rise, trucker caps can help keep your head cool.

If you’re not a fan of straps on the back of your cap, you can also choose from a wide range of fitted caps.

But if you don’t mind, you can always get a strapback and choose a size to your liking.

Women in black

Although spring’s the time of year that explodes with all kinds of colors, you shouldn’t forget about elegance. Wearing black doesn’t necessarily mean you’re emo or that you don’t like colors – it’s just a staple of elegance.

Put on a black dress when the sun’s out, a hoodie when it goes away, a black windbreaker when it looks like rain, or a pair of sweatpants when it’s time to get cozy at home.
