Footshop is trying to save the claimed sneakers as it goes. We dedicate them to children’s homes and others in need or pass them on to young designers who use them for their own work. We now have the opportunity to deal with couples that can no longer be worn. Using recycling.
Why do we recycle old sneakers?
Footshop is committed to reducing its impact on the environment, which is associated with the most environmentally friendly removal of old pairs of shoes, which can no longer be used otherwise. We have prepared an opportunity to deal with such a pair correctly, in addition to a way that goes hand in hand with our philosophy in cooperation with Reebok and adidas.
How do recycling containers work?
- Bring your old sneakers to one of our stores.
- Throw sneakers in the container.
- You will get a 15% DISCOUNT on a new discounted pair of adidas or Reebok from the store.
- The sneakers go to a special shredder, which creates a new material from them.
What kind of shoes can you bring us?
We accept all shoes except sandals, slippers and Crocs.
Where can you find containers?
We have built recycling containers in all our stores in Prague (Vnitroblock), Bratislava, Budapest and Bucharest.
Why use our container?
Old sneakers do not belong in municipal waste and you will not find a special container for old shoes on the street. Most shoes therefore end up in incinerators or landfills. But it also makes sense to sort sneakers. Come and make a new standard with us, in addition you can take a new pair at a discount.
