March 8 is annually celebrated as International Women’s Day. This year, Footshop decided to engage with the word unique, perhaps the most general, yet most specific way to describe each of us.
It doesn’t even have to take more than a few seconds. The word unique is overused today, but it’s unfortunately usually used in other meanings than the one where it’s true meaning can be fully expressed. The female body is composed of a multitude of inimitable symbols of pride, the result of which can be viewed from a multitude of perspectives – there are no fixed definitions of what is ideal, so we can only ever admire each of these infinitely diverse works of art individually. And there is no better way to express gratitude for this often overlooked fact than with a few nice words. It might take but a few seconds, but it is undoubtedly always worth it.
What does women´s beauty mean?
The woman’s body is a blend of thousands of symbols of pride. There are no fixed boundaries to the ideal, so we don’t have any choice but to admire every one of these diverse pieces of art. In the end, they’re very pleasant problems to solve. So we’re celebrating this International Women’s Day with a union of three beautiful women.
We have captured the diversity of women´s beauty in the editorial of artists and models whose style and beauty are unique.
What does “female beauty” mean to you?
Viktorie: It’s a broad concept, that, in my opinion, you can express in a few word. Stand in front of a mirror, lock your phone, do anything to see yourself. And that’s it, that’s “female beauty”. It’s YOU.
Krish: I think “female beauty” is my mother, my friends and inner personalities. It was something which I wasn’t aware of when I was younger, but it grew onto me as I grew older. It’s unique! It’s support! It represents superficial beauty which is enhanced by their confidence and strength. It’s empowerment!
Dominika: Soul. Home. Touch.
Lucie: Soulfulness. I love being an observer. She’s sitting in a studio in a bluish light and she’s weaving her life’s tapestry. She’s in an untamed garden, setting fire to a pile of dry wood, burning with an inflorescence of hydrangea.

Footshop wishes you the most pleasant experience of International Women’s Day.
